The journey continues . . .
Last weekend our team clinched the league - winning conference champions. This is a moment I will never forget. Adversity hit early on, but resilence allowed us to get through. Emotions were high - maybe higher than ever for some of us. Especially, me and the 7 other seniors. Being a senior and playing the last regular season games in LaBahn was special. It was a time to cherish and create new memories. Our class was the only class who played in LaBahn during the inagural season and 4 years later we won the regular season league here, on senior night. So, hats off to the team, seniors, parents, and close supporters - but we are not done yet!
What lies ahead no one knows. But, our group is a very special group this year. We get along well on and off the ice, and it is one of the driving factors of doing well this year. The journey of what this special team holds, only lies ahead. I'm anxious-excited to finish our regular season games this weekend in Minnesota. The land of 10,000 lakes, and perhapds too many rodents. It's a weekend of the #borderbattle, and a wekend neither team takes lightly. Fans come to the game just as early as the players to claim their seats. But, we as players, we need to be ready before the puck drops. We know the Gophers will be looking for redemption after we swept them this year, in our own rink. It's time to go to work.
